Being a very mean, neat person, I wanted to create a font appearing smooth and clean, but I also wanted it to come off as interesting and bubbly. To interpret my ideas into a design, I just squiggled and played around wit different looks on a sheet of paper until I figured out a font I thought could turn out interesting. The capital letters in my design were successful in being copied over from the sheet into the computer. I believe the lowercase letters came out successfully but in a different way than I had in mind. When drawing the letters, I did not expect for letters like the letter "y" to letter "g" to be above any letters, but expected them to swing down below; however, this mistake appears fun and interesting and I personally like the way in ended up looking. In order to improve my design, I think I could have written the symbols differently on the "Calligraphr" paper, so that they would not appear in the middle and instead the periods would be at the bottom and the quotation would be at the top instead of it all being in the middle. Overall, I see this project as a success and am proud of the final product.
